Details: Our Food Pantry Ministry operates to provide help to those in need in the Greater Lafayette Area. The Food Pantry is supported by direct donations to Brady Lane Church of Christ. Through this outreach Brady Lane Church has been able to assist thousands of Lafayette residents with much needed help. The Food Pantry is operated out of the east entrance of our facility. The Food Pantry operates two days per month: Second Tuesday of each month from 6 pm to 8 pm., Last Tuesday of each month from 8 am to noon.

Details: Community residents have access to a variety of foods through the Broadway Food Pantry. Hours: Monday - Thursday, 9:00 - 10:30 a.m. The food pantry serves everyone once a month. You must arrive and be signed in by 10:30 a.m. Please bring a photo ID and a piece of mail addressed to you that matches the ID. Over 3,000 people per year are aided by this ministry, which is supported by the Broadway congregation and other churches and groups.

Details: In the fall of 2009 Cadiz Christian Church had a vision of serving the community in whatever way they could. What emerged from this vision has been more than we could have ever imagined. After contacting other local churches and organizations, what started out as a vision has now turned in to the Cadiz Area Food Pantry. In 2010, its first full year of existence, the food pantry was able to feed 56 families, 214 different people, give out approximately 6500 pounds of food, and 59 Bibles! We look forward to seeing what God is going to do with this ministry. We also give thanks for the people that will know Him because of it!

Details: Since April 1982, the Bethany house Soup Kitchen has not missed a day of serving meals to the hungry in our community. Renovations in the fall of 2007 doubled the size of the dining room and tripled the size of the kitchen. Lunch is served every day of the year from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.. On the average, 129 meals are served each day. Beginning November 7, 2014, Deli Giveaway Days will be held on Fridays from 2-3 pm. This is a cooperative effort with Terre Haute Catholic Charities Foodbank to provide people with food for immediate dinners. On the average, more than 1150 household members are served each month.

Details: Christ's Commissary, Inc. was originally created as a food pantry during the Y2K crisis, and decided to serve the community as Christ's Commissary Food Pantry. We began serving between 15 and 20 families a month and now serve about 500 families a month. In 2010 we became incorporated, and in June of 2011 we took on Harvest Basket Senior Food Program.

Details: Those in need of food may visit our Food Pantry, which has a monthly distribution to the public. 2:00 PM - 4:00 PM On the 1st Saturday of Every Month (Photo ID with address is required each month). Should you be in need of assistance prior to that, we do open the Food Pantry for those who have attended any of our worship services. David and Margie Short are the Directors of this wonderful program, which has provided food for over 188 families on various months. We wish to do our part in helping those in need in our community and the surrounding areas.

Details: One of the ways our church serves the community around us is with our grocery assistance program called Bag Hunger. The Bag Hunger program is a great opportunity for our church to come together and show God's love in a practical way by providing food and toiletries for those in need. In the church lobby at the Bag Hunger display, you can pick up a bag and a list of items to purchase. The filled bags can then be dropped off on Sunday mornings at the Bag Hunger display or during the week at the church offices. At the end of each month, we deliver bags to the homes of those in need throughout our community.
