Details: Since 1981, Food Finders Food Bank has been a critical component of the welfare of Tippecanoe and 15 surrounding counties in Indiana: providing food to member agencies, advocating for the hungry, and educating the public about hunger-related issues. Funded by United Way, foundations, grants, the USDA, corporations, sponsors, and individual donors, Food Finders Food Bank annually distributes more than 6 million pounds of food to a network of non-profit organizations that work to alleviate hunger throughout Mid-North Indiana.

Details: One of the ways our church serves the community around us is with our grocery assistance program called Bag Hunger. The Bag Hunger program is a great opportunity for our church to come together and show God's love in a practical way by providing food and toiletries for those in need. In the church lobby at the Bag Hunger display, you can pick up a bag and a list of items to purchase. The filled bags can then be dropped off on Sunday mornings at the Bag Hunger display or during the week at the church offices. At the end of each month, we deliver bags to the homes of those in need throughout our community.

Details: Our Food Pantry Ministry operates to provide help to those in need in the Greater Lafayette Area. The Food Pantry is supported by direct donations to Brady Lane Church of Christ. Through this outreach Brady Lane Church has been able to assist thousands of Lafayette residents with much needed help. The Food Pantry is operated out of the east entrance of our facility. The Food Pantry operates two days per month: Second Tuesday of each month from 6 pm to 8 pm., Last Tuesday of each month from 8 am to noon.

St. John's/LUM Food Pantry

Details: St. John’s is widely known for its outreach to the community—for sharing God’s love and our lives by seeking and serving the people of Greater Lafayette and beyond. For decades, St. John’s has supported a food pantry to support those who are hungry in Greater Lafayette. In 1991, St. John’s partnered with Lafayette Urban Ministry to create the St. John's LUM/Food Pantry, now one of the largest food pantries in the area. In 2013 alone, the St. John’s/LUM Food Pantry gave out food to nearly 10,000 individuals. The pantry is open 5 days a week including Saturday. On Saturdays during the summer, the Pantry partners with the area’s Veggie Drop to distribute fresh fruits and vegetables from the local farmer’s Market. The St. John's\LUM Food Pantry is located at the corner of Ferry and 6th Streets. Look for the green awning. The St. John's/LUM Food Pantry Hours: Monday 9:00 AM-11:30 AM, Tuesday 9:00 AM-11:30 AM, Wednesday CLOSED, Thursday 9:00 AM-11:30 AM, Friday 9:00 AM-11:30 AM, Saturday 1:00 PM-3:00 PM.
