Details: The Shelter Ministries Food Pantry operates under the direction of the Shelter Ministries Director, and the Food Pantry Coordinator, Carole Bunting, and her dedicated staff of volunteers. The Pantry is able to assist the DeKalb County Community with basic food commodities to help supplement their cupboards. We are presently open every Monday from 2:00pm-5:00pm and Thursday from 5:00pm-7:00pm at 315 E 7th St in downtown Auburn. Individuals may visit the Food Pantry twice a month. To enroll, bring proof of address, a photo id, and birth certificates for children under the age of 18. A Photo ID must be presented at each visit. |

Details: Cup of Cold Water is love in action. It understands that in order to show a hurting person the love of Jesus we must help meet some of their physical needs. Cup of Cold Water provides five meals each week at four sites. No questions asked. No forms to complete. No guidelines. Just love in action. Sharing a healthy meal with a hungry child, teenager, or adult to show them that God loves them and so do we. Tuesdays nights at Auburn Church of the Nazarene, food is served starting at 6:00 PM. At 6:30 PM, Elevate Kids, a children's program begins and runs until 7:30 PM. The children engage Bible stories and develop their faith. Wednesday nights at Auburn Church of the Nazarene food is served starting at 6:00 pm. |

Indiana Avenue at the First Christian Church. First Christian Church is equipped with information of available services for those in need. This site also regularly provides cereal and carry-out meals during the Friday lunch. |
