- Description: The Salvation Army in Kankakee feeds the hungry with daily, nutritionally balanced meals for anyone. The Free Lunch Program is available to all from 12:00 pm - 1:00 pm, Monday through Saturday. In the last year, the Army provided over 59,000 meals. Bread and produce distribution also offered, when available.
