Details: The LCC Food Pantry serves the community of Arlington Heights, Des Plaines, Elk Grove, Mount Prospect, and Rolling Meadows. We have been serving those in need since 1975, are an agency of the Greater Chicago Food Depository (#A01198), and are a 501(c)(3) tax exempt organization. The Food Pantry is open on Tuesdays from 9 A.M. to 1 P.M. Family’s are welcome to visit every other week with only a few minor requirements: Identification (drivers license, utility bill); Proof of residence in one of the served communities; Address, phone, and number in family. The LCC Food Pantry receives no government assistance, minimizing the paperwork and information required for participation.

Details: Elk Grove Township has an Emergency Food Pantry for township residents, which they can utilize once every other month. We stock non-perishable items of canned and dry foods to residents facing a food shortage, through donations received from the community. Cash donations are used for the purchase of meat. We also disburse personal essentials when they are available. Our pantry is open Monday through Friday 9:00 to 3:30. To register you must provide: Driver’s license or State ID for each adult, proof of residence (current electric bill or lease with your name) and proof of all household income for previous 30 days.
