- Description: The Urbandale Food Pantry is a collaborative community effort to reach out to our neighbors to provide food assistance with dignity and compassion. Since the Pantry opened in 2008, the average number of families served per month has steadily grown. Hours of Operation: Monday: 10am–6:30pm, Wednesday & Thursday: 10am–2pm. What You Need to Bring: a picture I.D. for the head of household; I.D.s for each member of the family requiring assistance; a current piece of mail (utility or telephone bill) that includes the name and current address of the resident.
