• Description: Throughout the Bible, we are told by God to help, encourage, and support one another spiritually and physically. Supported by the congregation, the Food Pantry helps families in our own area with the physical support of groceries. The Pantry is opened every Tuesday from 10:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m. Additional hours are the third Thursday of each month from 6 PM until 7:30 PM. Recipients include families in need due to illness, job loss, divorce, or other situations. Non-perishable items are gathered every Sunday during the month in the Fellowship Area. Each client must verify income eligibility through the following documents: ID for all people living in the household. Proof of residency (utility, landlord statement, etc). AND any of the following will be accepted for proof of income (all income must be disclosed): DSS client ID cards, 1040 forms, Pay check stub, Medicaid or food stamp cards, Pension retirement cards or statements, WIC cards, Unemployment Insurance paperwork.
