- Description: At our Community Kitchen, a team of volunteers cook and serve hot, nutritious meals to an average of 45 individuals every day of the year. The Kitchen serves lunch and dinner seven days a week, along with a hot breakfast three mornings a week–resulting in over 30,000 meals served each year! Unfortunately, far too many people in our community do not have enough money left after paying for housing or other basic necessities to purchase food. We receive donations of meals from churches, synagogues, school groups, individuals and families. Individuals and groups do the cooking and serving, as well as donate the food for each meal. Hours of operation: 7 days a week, lunch served from 11:30am – 1:00pm, dinner served from 5:30pm – 6:30pm
