  • Description: The HVCC Food Pantry is an emergency food source for residents of Vernon, Tolland, and Ellington, South Windsor and Coventry. The food is free to individuals who meet income and residency requirements. Food Pantry Hours: Monday 9 -12, Tuesday 10-1, Wednesday 9-1 and 4-6:30, Thursday 9-1, Friday 9-12, Closed Saturday and Sunday. The HVCC Food Pantry helps families and individuals in the Vernon, Ellington, and the Tolland area by providing food assistance. Food drives are a major source of the contributions that fill the shelves of the Pantry. We are most grateful to the many individuals, schools, businesses, and religious and civic organizations that participate in food drives to support the Pantry. We also always welcome donations of food from individuals and families who understand the importance of helping their neighbors.
