  • Description: Presently, Hands of Christ Food Pantry (HCFP) is a joint effort of representatives from eight area churches. Any member church of the Paxton Area Ministerial Association is invited to have up to two representative sit on the Board of Directors. The Hands of Christ Food Pantry opened its doors on Saturday, December 3, 2011, in the east wing of the Upper Room Bible Church at 425 W Orleans St, Paxton, IL 60957. We will be open every Saturday from 9:00 - 11:00 a.m. and the 2nd Tuesday of each month from 4:00 - 6:00 p.m. HCFP currently serves all of Ford County and the Paxton-Buckley-Loda School District geographical area. HCFP is a distributor of US government commodities. HCFP is the only distributor of food from the Eastern Illinois Foodbank in Paxton.
