- Description: More than eight years ago, God put it on my heart to help people in need. After much prayer I started Dalton's Food Pantry in the Haughville area. I grew up in this community and I know what it's like to walk these broken streets; broken people, broken homes, broken hopes and dreams. My name is J.R. Dalton. In January 2006, I made the commitment to God and obeyed his leading to give 10% of my income to help feed, clothe and house the needy. Other than giving my heart to Christ, this has been the most rewarding decision of my life. My ministries are not about us, we are Christ centered, obedient to His direction and we are interested in serving and blessing others. Jesus instructs us to love one another. That's who we are, the hands and feet of Jesus. Dalton's Food Pantry compassionately touches lives in being the hands and feet of Jesus, by providing essential necessities and pursing souls in planting seeds of love, hope and encouragement for the assured growth which is promised in God through whom all things are possible. Simply - LIVES TOUCHED, SOULS PURSUED, SEEDS PLANTED, GROWTH ASSURED.
