Details: In an emergency situation where there is a shortage of food for your family or for yourself, you would go to the Family Development Center. The coordinator will then supply you a food package according to the number in the household to get you through for a short time. The pantry supplies will be such possible items as: meat, canned vegtables, cereal, soups, tuna, macaroni and cheese, hamburger helper, etc. depending on availability. The food pantry can only be accessed 4 times a fiscal year (October-September) per household. per emergency situations. There is no charge for the food pantry, but you will be asked to complete a basic intake form for applying for this emergency food pantry. |
