Details: Our soup kitchen at 241 Arch Street in New Britain provides lunch 11:45 a.m. to 12:45 p.m., Monday through Friday to anyone in need; and three meals per day, seven days per week, to shelter residents and former residents. Staff and volunteers ensure that guests are served in a welcoming, friendly atmosphere. Emergency shelter and community kitchen are funded primarily by individual donors, arera congregations, civic organizations, special events and government, foundation and corporate grants.

The St. Mark's Food Pantry is dedicated to helping people in need of food. We are an emergency pantry. A client may receive food once every 30 days. We are located on the upper floor of the Parish House next to the entrance. We are open Mondays and Thursdays from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon and from 12:30 p.m. to 2:00 p.m.

Details: Increasing food security in New Britain’s northwestern region by providing a holistic safety net of services to those who need help in a variety of areas. Program offers food and wraparound services including: Energy assistance, Income tax assistance, Employment, Job training, HUSKY enrollments. Pantry Hours: Monday: 12:00 pm - 4:00 pm, Wednesday: 3:00 pm - 7:00 pm, Saturday: 9:00 am - 1:00 pm. These services are offered free of charge to New Britain residents based on income. All information is kept strictly confidential. Walk-in during pantry hours and bring the following: Photo ID, Social Security cards for everyone in the household, Any bill, rent receipt or lease to prove you are a New Britain resident, Proof of income from the current year (any paystub) OR Your food stamp award letter
