Details: Use of the Food Pantry has grown significantly since it first opened in 1996. The Food Pantry was created to provide food, personal care, and household supplies to a growing number of people in the community who lacked these resources. By winter of 2000, the Food Pantry served 84 clients in three months. Now in 2013 over 500 clients per month are being served. The Food Pantry is located in the Parish Hall of First Lutheran Church. It is open to anyone who requests its services. Clients will be asked for their name, address, identification, and number of members in their family. No other documentation is necessary. The Food pantry is an Iowa non-profit corporation (501c3). HOURS Monday – Friday, 1:30pm – 3:30pm; Thursday, 6:30pm – 8:30pm. |

Details: The Decorah Lutheran Church Food Pantry is available to folks regardless of their religious affiliation or place of residence. It is open on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays from 1:00 pm – 3:00 pm. Visits to the Food Pantry are limited to one visit each month. Some sort of photo ID is required. |
