Details: The mission of Caring Hands Outreach Center is to provide a helping hand, within a caring Christian environment, to people in need in our communities. Caring Hands began in 2003 as a unique collaboration of church and community leaders seeking to respond to the needs of people in the Southeast Polk area. We provide people with the material and spiritual resources that give them the strength to keep trying. The Food Pantry assists Southeast Polk residents with food and limited help with utilities or rent. The Food Pantry is open Mondays and Wednesdays from 4 to 6 p.m. and 1st and 3rd Saturdays from 9 to 11 a.m. |
