Description:
Our Mission is to provide families within our community with consistent access to nutritious food in a dignified and sensitive environment. You must be a resident of Duplin County to use the Blessing House Food Pantry. Our policy at The Blessing House Food Pantry is to serve all our clients with equal quality and respect. The following steps will give you some guidance on how to use our food pantry. Families in need must register at the Pantry. Proper Identification as well as proof of residency will be required at the time of registration. The first time you visit, prepare to spend a little extra time filling out an application form. If you are eligible for any of the federal assistance programs or meet the federal poverty guidelines for all your household, you will be approved for food assistance for a period of 3 months. We have a variety of food… frozen, canned and fresh when they are available. We have breads and pastries, different canned items and meats. No two weeks are the same. We are always looking for ways to improve the health of our clients by having fruits and vegetables whenever possible. Hours of Operation: Wednesday - 9 until 11 am, Friday - 9 until 11 am.
