Description:
Did you know 12,200 residents of Madison County live below the poverty level? Some local children go to bed hungry. We CAN and we WILL help. You can help by joining the Food Pantry Committee, working at the pantry, donating money (envelopes are in the pews at church), donating can goods, saving plastic grocery bags, and praying. The St. John's Food Pantry is run with the assistance of the Second Harvest Food Bank of East Central Indiana. It is open from 6:00 to 7:30pm on the 1st and 3rd Monday of every month (unless that day is a Holiday). To receive food, plan to arrive around 2 to 3:00 pm to receive your number and be sure to bring a photo ID. You may receive food from the Food Pantry each time it is open.
