Details: The main component of the Heartland Hunger & Resource Center is the Food Bank. The Food Bank provides weekly assistance to those in need in the McCall area. HH&RC serves hundreds of people every month, especially single parent families and a large percentage of children. In September 2013, HH&RC became a choice pantry. Clients take part in selecting the food their families can use. Volunteers work with clients, choosing pantry items, fresh produce, bread, dairy and meet as available. |
