Details: The Food Bank serves the community by providing food. They get deliveries from the Montana Food Bank network that is distributed to about 150 families each month. They also receive donations of different kinds from local churches and businesses. Both members of the community and the local churches volunteer in this ministry, and we are excited with the outreach to the families and the unity of those that help make it happen impacts our community for the Lord’s Glory. The Plains Community Food Bank located across the street from Church on the Move is open every Tuesday 9 a.m. - 2:30 p.m. serving the community of Plains. |

Details: The community of Shelby is very fortunate to have the Sagebrush Food Pantry. Through the diligent work of volunteers, the pantry has been in operation for over 25 years. The mission of the Sagebrush Food Pantry is to provide emergency food for individuals and families in southern Toole County. The pantry does limit the number of baskets to six per calendar year with special baskets distributed at Christmas time to all those who apply. The pantry is located in the back of the Shelby Civic Center and open on Mondays and Thursdays from 4-6 pm. |
