Description:: Since 2008 The Stone Chapel has distributed food to area families and individuals in need. Currently volunteers assemble and distribute food boxes each week. Food is not picked up from the church. Please contact us to schedule a delivery. As an official Partner of the Food Bank of Central & Eastern North Carolina, we are able to purchase healthy food at a greatly reduced rate. Your financial contributions allow us to purchase exactly what is needed for our relief operation. That way we can assure that our clients receive healthy balanced meals. In 2013 we distributed over 13,000 pounds of food including canned goods, fresh produce, bakery and deli items.
