Description:: A community funded, faith based assistance and resource center with locations in Chelsea and Dexter, Michigan. Emergency food pantry: Based on household income, food to last 3-5 days will be provided for people who need it, along with household and other supplies not purchasable with food stamps.FIA is happy to accept frozen and perishable items as space permits. FIA can provide this level of support with the help of Food Gatherers, the premier organization that conducts food rescue in Washtenaw County. We routinely provide food for 100 households each month.
