Description:: Catherine's Cupboard Food Pantry was founded in April, 2008, by the College's Mercy Center, the Town of Standish, and Bon AppÃ©tit Management Company, as a collaborative outreach of Saint Joseph's. Campus Ministry received an endowment from Andrew & Helen McSween through Saint Joseph's College to conduct good works in the Town of Standish. Initially operated out of the Steep Falls fire station, the Town of Standish has since provided space in its new municipal center, greatly increasing the capacity for service. In addition to providing food assistance, Catherine's cupboard puts on programs that service the community, such as Kid's Korner, occasional health screenings, and educational activities for all ages.
