Description:: The Christian Center is the oldest human service organization in the Berkshires, serving the community for more than 120 years. The mission of The Christian Center is â€œUplifting the community by empowering individuals with dignity, nourishment, and hope.â€ Thousands of individuals and families come to The Christian Center each year seeking emergency assistance. All programs and services are available to qualified individuals free of charge. Food Pantry: Providing nutritious, perishable and nonperishable food packages to hundreds of qualified individuals and families at least once a month. Food pantry hours are Monday through Friday from 9:30 to 11:30 a.m. and from 12:30 to 3 p.m. Meals Program: Continental breakfast and lunch served Monday through Friday.
