Description:
The St. Patrick's Center is a major part of the community and plays a vital role to those in need. Without the help of the St. Patrick's Center a tremendous amount of people in need would suffer. The Center has an ongoing challenge — to sponsor Nutritional, Social Service, Transportation, Clothing, Recreational and Empowerment programs, similar to those once provided by federal and state agencies. With the help of a small network of supporters, St. Patrick's Center has become key among the organizations that provide vital services to the community. At the Center, friends gather in a secure, friendly environment to play cards and other games, enjoy television and other activities. St. Patrick's is a source of information and referral for people needing assistance in accessing healthcare, filing taxes, dealing with Social Security, or securing food stamps.
