  • Description: The Salvation Army, Traverse City provides food, nutrition and fellowship to area individuals and families experiencing hunger through the Community Meal program, the Community Shelf and Food Pantry at the Community Center at 1239 Barlow Street. Sal’s Kitchen is located at our Community Center and provides healthy, nutritious meals at lunch every Monday, Wednesday and Friday. Everyone is welcome. The Food Pantry provides emergency food baskets Monday and Friday from 9:30-11:30 am and 1:00– 3:00 pm. Our Community Shelf is accessible in our lobby Monday - Friday for all in need. Food is based on available food donations.
