- Description: SEAM is one of the 15 community ministries in the Louisville Metro area and is a member of the Association of Community Ministries. SEAM is an interfaith community through which local faith traditions relate to each other and foster the human growth and potential of residents within our community. Staff members work side-by-side with approximately 100 volunteers to provide services to residents living in zip codes 40218 and 40220. South East Associated Ministries is a Dare to Care distribution site. SEAM receives food from Dare to Care along with donations from member churches, individuals, and civic groups. Appointments are NOT needed for food assistance. Walk-ins are welcome 9:30 -11:30 a.m. Monday through Friday. In order to receive food assistance, applicant must: Live in zip codes 40218 and 40220; Bring proof of address (piece of mail received during the month); A picture I.D.
