- Description: The Shrine of the Sacred Heart Dinner Program is a volunteer operation that serves nutritious meals to homeless and low-income individuals living in Washington DC. Our mission is to provide a place where all persons regardless of ethnic, social, religious or economic backgrounds can come together and share a meal in an environment that reaffirms their inherent dignity. Our vision is to create a community in which all members are fully integrated and self-sufficient. Dinner Time: Monday thru Friday, Doors open 4:30pm, Dinner served 5:00-6:00pm
