  • Description: The Santa Fe Waystation is operated with over 70 volunteers. We have no paid staff. In 2013, the Food Pantry served over 5,000 families (almost 23,000 individuals), providing food valued at over $550,000. That is over 100 tons of food providing nourishment to those in need. Currently, we are providing food for around 110 families in the Kansas City area every week. Our ​Food Pantry is Open on Mondays 9:00 to 11:30am & 5:00 to 7:00pm. Closed Memorial Day and Labor Day, and Any Monday when the Shawnee Mission Schools are closed due to inclement weather. To register to receive food, you need to provide the following information: A Photo ID; Your Address The Names; Birth Dates & Social Security Numbers (if available) of everyone living in the home; The approximate monthly income of the household.
