- Description: Our Pantry had a modest beginning during the fall season of 2007, when we served about ten families per month and relied solely on donations from those who attended services at St. Luke’s-San Lucas. At the present, the average number of individuals served each month is about 800 and keeps growing. We provide, free of cost, mostly non-perishable food by appointment. We open only on Saturdays from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. For more information, or to make an appointment, please call (617) 884-4278. The Community Dining Room, which began operations on May 31, 2009, is staffed entirely by volunteers from the partner churches, and opens every Saturday from 9 am to 12 noon. Warm, nutritious breakfast and lunch are served to anyone who comes in, free of charge.
