- Description: The Rush City Food Shelf is located in the Rush City Community Center. Adjacent the Countryside Senior Apartments. Clients must live in the Rush City School District #139. Proof of address is required (utility bill, etc.). Food assistance is provided once a month. The Rush City Food Shelf can help: Seniors on a fixed income; One parent households; Households with no or low-income; Families with medical bills that severely limit their food budget. The food shelf is open every Tuesday 2:00 to 4:45 pm. NO appointments.
