• Description: New Life Food Pantry began in a closet in the basement of St. George's Church with 2 shelves of food. Each week 5-6 people would stop in and pick up a bag of emergency food that had been donated by the church parishioners. The pantry has now expanded into 4 [sometimes 5] rooms, has multiple storage and shelving units, a commercial refrigerator, commercial freezer and 2 new large capacity refrigerator/freezers that keep the food fresh and properly cooled. We now have a dedicated staff of 49 volunteers that help keep our pantry operating. We serve an average of 45-50 families each week. Our hours are: Tuesdays 10 AM - 12 PM, 3rd Thursday of each month 4:30 PM - 6 PM.
