  • Description: Food Pantry began in Oct. 2008, as a result of a program at a United Methodist Women's meeting, which informed the women about the fact of hunger in our county/town. We believe that God led us to address this issue with the "Bread of Life" pantry where food for the body as well as the soul is provided. This ministry is also an avenue where other needs may be met such as need for furniture, repairs, Spiritual, emotional, a listening ear, etc. The opportunity for prayer and encouragement is a valued component of the ministry.
