- Description: F.I.S.H. of Sanibel-Captiva, Inc. is a leading nonprofit, non-sectarian, human services organization focused on “neighbors helping neighbors†on Sanibel and Captiva islands. The mission of F.I.S.H. is to lend a helping hand to those in need on Sanibel or Captiva who live, work or visit here. Our objective is to make a social investment in our community that assists our neighbors to live independently with dignity in their homes. The F.I.S.H. Food Pantry is one of our most vital services. In 2012, we distributed 74,000 lbs of food to our island neighbors. Many island businesses, residents and visitors make food donations to help keep our food pantry stocked.
