  • Description: Bread of Life, is a community ministry of Calvary Chapel North Long Beach, serving up a healthy portion of groceries and the real bread of life, Jesus, to people in need in the North Long Beach area. Beginning in 1995 as a small food pantry, the Bread of Life food ministry currently serves hundreds of people in the surrounding area. Food is distributed every second and fourth Wednesday of the month. Bread of Life check in begins at 8:30 am. At 9:30 there is a forty minute Chapel Service. Food Distribution begins at 10:15. Call 562-428-5422 if you have any questions or if you would like to donate non-perishable food items.
