Details: HOPE STATION operates a Food Pantry that is open Monday, Wednesday, and Friday mornings, 9:00 – 11:30 am. During that time individuals and families who qualify select a three-day supply of food. Nearly 2,000 families (4,000 individuals) are served annually through the HOPE STATION Food Pantry. Clients may receive food once every 30 days, and are eligible if the head of household can provide a food stamp card and a government-issued photo ID, or if they can document that their family income falls below 200% of the federal poverty level. Government-issued IDs also are required for all family members. |

Details: For almost 32 years, from 1983 to present, the Community Soup Kitchen of Wilson County has prepared and served mid-day meals to anyone that may be hungry. We are located in the Carriage House located behind St. Timothy's Episcopal Church. CSKWC always has been and continues to be operated by community volunteers. To this day there are no paid employees and is solely operated by volunteers 5 days per week, year round. We open our doors 10:30-11:30 M-F. (With the exception of a few major holidays.) We are fortunate that through this work we were able to provide nearly 15,000 meals during 2014. |
