Details: The NAC Food Pantry is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization that originated in 1988 at St. Patrick's Church, and since 1996, has been located at the Northbridge Senior Center. During the hours of operation, our all-volunteer staff helps to distribute perishable and non-perishable food items as well as various hygiene and household products to local families who have been referred to us by Catholic Charities, DCF, WIC, the Northbridge Senior Center, NAC Churches, and school officials. The NAC Food Pantry works in partnership with the Worcester County Food Bank where we receive monthly allotments of food through the MEFAP (state) Program and the USDA (federal) Program. The remainder of our food and monetary donations comes from our local churches, schools, businesses, social organizations and generous community members. |
