Details: The Ozarks Food Harvest Mobile Pantry truck will arrive in West Plains once a month. A voucher is required to receive food. Prequalification will be held on the first Wednesday of each month from 4 – 5:45 PM at the West Plains Public Library Community Room, 750 W. Broadway, where volunteers will verify documentation and give vouchers for the truck date. Only people with vouchers will receive food from the truck. Recipients MUST qualify at the library - No Exceptions. Those eligible to apply for this assistance are: Families with children ages 0-18 who live within Howell County, including the communities of West Plains, Willow Springs and Mountain View; or Students enrolled at Missouri State University-West Plains or South Central Career Center, provided they meet income guidelines. Families may only receive one voucher per family. To pre-qualify, please bring: Driver’s license or photo ID; Proof of Howell County residency (does not apply to Missouri State-West Plains or South Central Career Center students): Electric bill or mail received at current Howell County address, Howell County voter registration card OR property tax bill; Current verification of income or unemployment. Payroll stubs or printouts must be withint the last 90 days. Proof of income or unemployment applies to all adults 19 or over living within the household; Missouri State-West Plains students need to bring their student ID AND a current class schedule; Proof of children's names and ages. No social security cards will be accepted as proof. Medicaid cards, shot records, grade cards or birth certificates will be accepted; Telephone number. Must have all documentation required. No exceptions. One voucher per household.

Details: Samaritan Outreach Center is a non-profit organization, funded through federal, state and local grants in addition to donations from local churches, organizations and community members. THE FOOD PANTRY: Available on Tuesday, Thursday and Friday from 9:00 am to 12:00 noon. Please call ahead for guidelines. SOUP KITCHEN: Open to everyone for three meals a day, seven days a week. Meal times are as follows: Breakfast: 7:00 am, Lunch 12:00 noon, Dinner: 5:30 pm
