Most of our food is provided daily by local businesses in St. Johns County. We distribute what we have to those in need. Prayer is offered, but never required. We also offer referral to other helpful local service agencies.

Our food collections need to be in cans and unopened boxes. This food selection represents about 3 to 4 days of food. The specific food has been chosen for its nutritional value and its supplemental nature. That why for instance we don’t distribute condiments and candy.

Details: The Saint Francis House Mission is to engage the homeless in achieving stability, self-sufficiency, and a viable plan for their future by providing a safe, stable environment, access to essential services, supportive connections, and to advocate for changes that address the needs of the homeless population. Soup Kitchen: St. Francis House serves thousands of hot meals each year. These free and nutritious meals are often the only meal of the day for the poor and homeless of the area. Daily meals are served seven days a week. Food Pantry: St. Francis House provides food baskets to families and individuals On Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays from 12:00 pm to 2:00 pm. You must bring ID and social security numbers for yourself and family members that you need services for.

Details: St. Johns Ecumenical Ministries Food Pantry promotes public awareness of local hunger issues and offers emergency food assistance to residents of St. Johns County. This community food pantry was established in 1992. It is staffed by volunteers from our 12 member churches and is supported by generous donations from community organizations and residents.
