Details: Community Kitchen located at at 1410 Bridges St., Morehead City NC is open for lunch Monday – Saturday from 11 am through 12:30 pm. A hot lunch is served by volunteers to any who need and desire a meal. In 2013, our kitchen served 35,466 hot, nutritious meals. |

Details: Martha's Mission Cupboard is an emergency food pantry, solely ran by volunteers, established to provide the needy citizens of Carteret County a temporary supply of nutritious and balanced food at no cost. Our goal is to tide them over during a temporary financial crisis or while they are awaiting permanent assistance from the State or Federal Government. Martha's Mission Cupboard is a non-profit, tax exempt corporation, not affiliated with any church or religious organization. We have a 15 member Board of Directors and 50 (mostly retired senior citizen non-paid volunteers) who assist in the distribution of food, the administrative work and fund-raising activities. Details: Our mission is birthed out of Matthew Chapter 25, verse 40; in this we aim to show the love of Christ to our neighbors through the gospel being shared, prayer for the needy, food, and many other expressions of the love of Jesus Christ. We as a team, each equally important in our roles, work together as one body with faith that our God will be ministering into the life of each family and individual whom we share with, and that many will be saved into the love and kingdom of Jesus Christ. We look forward to the day when our King will say to each of us: "come, you who are blessed of my Father, inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world." and "Truly I say to you, to the extent that you did it to one of these brothers of Mine, even the least of them, you did it to Me."
