Details: The Soup Kitchen at the First Seventh-day Adventist Church of Montclair opens its doors every Sunday at 12:00 noon to 2:30pm. This ministry, which is a part of the Community Services ministry, has faithfully served the community for over a decade. Spearheaded under the pastorship of Dr. Mark McCleary, this ministry has provided much needed help to many individuals over the years. We appreciate the sacrificial service and dedication of the Community Service team and volunteers. We are especially grateful for the current leadership and untiring dedication of Sis. Lisa Hamilton and Sis. Hortense Campbell. We also recognize the prior leadership and efforts of Bro. Joseph Holmes. May God continue to bless you. |

Our diverse client base includes families and singles who are elderly, disabled, home-bound, unemployed, or underemployed (working poor). Eligibility is determined using federal guidelines, which base need on income. |
