Details: It is our mission to educate, empower, strengthen, nurture and assist individuals and families who seek shelter, food and other basic necessities so they may build on their strengths and experience their own potential as independent members of society. Our food pantry provides canned and fresh foods to low income South Shore residents. We receive support from Project Bread’s Walk for Hunger, Greater Boston Food Bank, Whole Foods, BJ’s Wholesale Club, local churches, private foundations, civic groups and individual community members. The pantry also provides food baskets for Thanksgiving and Christmas. Hours of operation are Wednesdays from 5pm – 7pm and Thursdays from 9:30am – 12:30pm. Donations of food are accepted 24 hours a day, seven days a week. |
