Details: It is the mission of the Homestead Soup Kitchen to serve those members of our community in need of a hot meal, regardless of circumstances. By having a “no questions asked†policy, the Soup Kitchen provides in excess of 700 meals a week to individuals and families of the Greater Homestead/Florida City area and beyond. The Homestead Soup Kitchen, Inc., is a 501(c)3, non-profit organization providing meals to individuals and families in need. This includes the elderly, unemployed, underemployed, poor, severely poor, migrants and homeless. Hours of Operation: Monday - Wednesday & Friday 12 Noon to 1:30PM |

Details: Farm Share is a large-scale food bank and charitable packinghouse working to end hunger. We serve more impoverished areas because we don’t pass costs on to community groups. We specialize in getting donated fresh fruits and vegetables from Florida’s farmers and putting it into the hands of the millions of low-income families in need of nutritious food. |
