Details: Each Monday, Tuesday, and Friday at 9:00am to 12:00pm and 1:00pm to 3:00pm the Food Bank is open for eligible families. The Food Bank serves an average of 500 families per month in Cullman County. Each bag has approximately 37lbs. of food and drink. According to the USDA guideline of $1.60/lb., these bags are valued at about $59/bag. This equals 8 tons of food a month provided through our food bank to the community of Cullman. This does not include the other necessary items like baby food, diapers, wipes and school supplies that are also provided for qualified families.

Details: The Caring Center is able to give assistance in two main ways: weekly operations and specials events. We are open weekly on Tuesdays, from 9:00 am – 11:30 am, and Thursday, from 5:30 pm – 7:30 pm. During this time we are able assist through services like the food and clothing distribution and financial assistance. We host several special events throughout the year to serve our community on a large scale. Christmas at Northbrook, Back to School Bash, and A Thanksgiving Dinner are opportunities for us to meet the needs of members of our community in big ways at times where needs are typically the greatest.

Details: The Food Ministry of First Baptist Church, Cullman, is located in our church's Fellowship Hall. It is open on the third Saturday of each month starting at 9AM. Families are served on a first come, first serve basis. The food is provided by the Sunday School classes of our church with each class being responsible for a particular food item each month. No government funds are used to provide food. The Food Ministry is available to anyone who needs help and resides in Cullman City/County. Photo identification is required. Our ministry asks that those who receive help come back on an as needed basis, no more than every other month.
