Details: Be Concerned has operated one of the largest free food pantries in Northern Kentucky since 1987. We help low-income residents of Boone, Campbell and Kenton counties each month. We are a 501 (c) (3) nonprofit agency and all donations are tax deductible. More than 800 families each month ease financial hardship by shopping at Be Concerned. Through our food program, groceries and toiletries are distributed monthly to low-income families at no charge. Customers shop on a rotating basis by scheduled appointments. Individual selection of goods through our choice-pantry model is an important aspect of the program. New customers must sign up on Mondays and Tuesdays between the hours of 10:00 AM and 12:00 PM. All new customers must show their social security card for themselves and everyone else in the household, their picture ID, and a piece of mail to verify their current address. New shoppers are accepted from January until the end of September, at which time we begin planning for our holiday programs.
