Details: Matthew's Crossing helps people find new strength. The opportunities we offer give hope to many, provide solutions to overwhelming problems, and create powerful results in our community. We provide assistance for individuals and families in need in the East Valley. Each month we feed more than 3,500 people. Most of our clients are working families. They are employed full-time or part-time, and yet still are in need of supplemental food. We also serve people between jobs, those on fixed incomes, seniors, people with disabilities, and homeless clients. Hours: Emergency Food Bags M, Tu, Th, F 9:00 am - 12:00 pm, Wed 4:00 - 6:30 pm

Details: Each year CCCC distributes over 15,000 food boxes with enough food to feed over 50,000 adults and children. Persons needing emergency food are referred by a variety of agencies but primarily by the CAP (Community Action Program) office. Other referrals come from Child Protective Services, non profits, churches, schools, the Chandler Police Department’s Victim Services and the Chandler Fire Department. Emergency Food Boxes: Tailored to family size and special dietary needs including infants, children, and homeless individuals; Emergency Food Distribution: Monday – 12:00 through 3:00 pm, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday – 9:00 through 12:00 pm; Supplemental Food Boxes: Distributed weekly containing fresh perishable food; Supplemental Food Distribution: Every Friday – 9:00 through 11:00.

Details: With a heart for the broken and compassion for those in need—a major impact of New Hope’s reach into the community, continues through our “House of Hope: Food & Clothing Distribution.” This outreach ministry which began in 2010 as a small food distribution over time has grown exponentially and most recently expanding with a clothing distribution. On the 3rd Saturday of the month you can experience the compassion and love that fills the air as a number of volunteers assemble the food boxes, lay out the clothing in an organized fashion and with open arms serve anyone who would walk through New Hope’s doors.
