Details: The Burlington Township Food Pantry is a group of volunteers who devote their time and talent to eliminate hunger in our area. We are business people, professionals, clergy, educators, municipal employees and more. The common thread that draws us together is the desire to help. The current economic conditions have effected many families in our area, and the need for support, is greater then it ever has been. If we can provide food to those in need, with dignity and support, then we feel we have done something to help. You can help too. Details: Ladle of Love, our Outreach Supper is held on the 2nd and 4th Wednesday of every month from 4 to 6 p.m. at St. Mary's Guild House, 145 West Broad Street in Burlington City, New Jersey. Ladle of Love serves the community from St. Mary's kitchen with compassion and caring. This ministry was started in 2003, and currently provides approximately 100+ meals on the 2nd and 4th Wednesday of each month. The program is self-sustaining and is run by volunteers from St. Mary’s Parish. We have two teams that take turns cooking and serving the meals. |
