Harvest of Hope Pantry
Boulder, CO 80301
720.382.1971
Details: Harvest of Hope Pantry combines the rich traditions of two Boulder, Colorado Catholic churches — St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Center and Sacred Heart of Jesus — and their food banks that have served the single poor and families for more 40 years. In 2012, these two Catholic churches combined their programs to form Harvest of Hope Pantry [a separate 501(c)(3)] to serve the ongoing needs of Boulder's poor. OUR GOALS: To relieve the stress of food insecurity, offering a sense of hope for area individuals and families. To provide an effective redistribution of donated food. OUR MISSION: To live the Catholic faith by providing healthy supplemental food to Boulder families and individuals in need of food assistance within a safe, welcoming and non-judgmental environment. We provide a grocery store-style, client-choice experience, where individuals and families shop for supplemental food. We offer separate shopping hours for those with kitchens and those without kitchens. This enables us to focus on the specific needs of each group. Those with kitchens and refrigeration are permitted to shop once a week. Those without kitchens are permitted to shop daily for a meal item, snack, beverage, fresh produce and personal care items. Our Pantry is open Monday through Friday, except holidays, on a walk-in basis. No appointment is necessary. To best serve those with kitchens, our shopping area is set up from: 8:30 to 10:30 a.m. (Shoppers with kitchens are permitted to visit once a week.) To best serve those without kitchens, our shopping area is set up from: 1 to 3 p.m. (Shoppers without kitchens are permitted to drop in daily.)
