Details: In our mission to serve the needs of residents of Camden County, age 60 and older, SCUCS provides emergency aid to those in need of medical appliances or lacking basic necessities. SCUCS retains a fully stocked food shelf at all times for Camden County seniors 60+ years of age in need of emergency food. Once an individual is identified as being in need of assistance, they may pick up two prepared food bags of non-perishable each month. Clients without the means to pick up their food may be eligible to have their food delivered to their home if a volunteer is available in their area. Items for this program are donated by schools, churches and companies that want to help end hunger in their communities. Pick up times are 10:00 am - 1:00 pm on Tuesday, Wednesdays & Thursday (seniors only). |

Details: The South Jersey Community Care Center (SJCCC) is a non-profit ministry that seeks to assist those in our local community by helping to provide for the physical, practical and spiritual needs that exist. The South Jersey Community Care Center operates many different ministries such as a community food pantry, community food drive, holiday meals, and several ministries that focus on children. Our food pantry is a service to the community and those that are going through difficult times. The pantry operates through New Covenant Community Church and is open on the second and fourth Tuesday of every month from 7:00pm to 8:00pm. New clients must call for an appointment to complete an application. Emergency food is available. Clients must call the church (856) 546-0344 and leave a message with a contact phone number. We typically respond within 24 hours. Food Pantry Requirements - Current photo ID, proof of income, and proof of being in one of the following state programs: TANF - Temporary Assistance to Needy Families; SNAP - Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program; SSI - Social Security Income; WIC - Women, Infants and Children Program; Medicaid; Low Income. |
