Details: AYFS, through MEFAP and a partnership with Worcester County Food Bank, operates a food pantry and food distribution program at 21 Pheasant Court. The mission of our food program is to help alleviate hunger for Auburn’s children and families, and to educate families about the importance of good nutrition. The food pantry currently operates weekly on Tuesdays from 9:30AM-2:30PM. Emergency disbursements are made on an as-needed basis. The Annual Crop Walk, U.S. Postal Worker Food Drive, a $1,000 grant from Project Bread and a $1,500.00 grant from Fallon Community Health Plan supply funds and food for the pantry. |
