Originally, we were only able to help a few families at a time, but now, our Pantry serves approximately 7,000 people each year, and is the largest Food Pantry in Boyd County. This is made possible by the many volunteers who distribute food regularly, twice a week, and by generous donations from other local churches, organizations, and individuals. Much of our food comes from food drives, River Cities Harvest, and Huntington Area Food Bank. The rest, we buy. We have been blessed, and all glory goes to God through His Son, Jesus Christ. Families receiving assistance from the Food Pantry are on Food Stamps, and have been referred by CAReS. CAReS offers a variety of aid to families in need, and will direct you to the Food Pantry nearest you. Those directed to our Pantry may come once a month to receive food. Additionally, we offer free literature, and you may place any prayer requests in our Prayer Box. PANTRY HOURS: Tuesdays and Wednesdays - 9:00 AM to Noon, 1:00-3:00 PM (Closed when local schools close due to snow).
